You can consider me a software engineer with a proclivity to finance. While I have always had a predilection for working with computers, this was channeled to computational finance fields given my passion for quantitative analysis. My professional/academic was hence devoted to the software engineering and finance disciplines, driving me to pursue the BSc in Computer Science, MSc in Finance and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate.
Hence a significant portion of my competed projects had the goal of developing financial models aimed at assessing financial securities on credit quality and risk-reward grounds, at automating trading workflows and at measuring the performance of investment portfolios. Such models were developed using mainly C++, C#, Matlab, and Bloomberg-Excel’s API.
Several completed projects nonrelated to finance also comprise a significant portion of my experience. C++, Java and C# are my favorite programming languages. With them, virtually any kind of applications including user interfaces (GUI) can be done. Algorithms for 3D image fusion and artificial intelligence applications for pattern recognition are a major part of my portfolio. The back-end development of web applications utilizing C#/.NET is other of my major skills. Finally, the development of websites using Wordpress is a recent addition to my offered services. So far I have enjoyed 10 years of total experience in software engineering.
I will be very happy to work with you in any project requiring the skills described herein!
