Die Galerie Birgit Ostermeier wurde 2007 von Birgit Ostermeier – ehemals Direktorin der Dresdner Produzentengalerie Diskus – gegründet und zeigt vor allem zeitgenössische Positionen internationaler Skulptur und Installation.
Birgit Ostermeier, the former director of the artist run space Diskus opened up her own space in 2007. The gallery continues to present the work of a selection of the sculptors who founded the Galerie Diskus, while also showing other contemporary tendencies in international sculpture, installation art and painting. Providing an intimate space for presenting contemporary sculpture and installation art will remain the central goal of the gallery.
