My large-format photographs of light-suffused and reflective water shift between objective reproduction
and abstract structure. The effect of the wet surfaces and their painterly motion is dynamically heightened
by the metallic reflectivity of the aluminum image medium, which shifts according to the natural light in the exhibition room and echoes water’s vital, constantly changing aspect.
