Die Band Psychophant steht für groovigen „Djent“-Metal. Sie schafft durch tiefere Stimmungen der Saiteninstrumente und wiederkehrende Synthie-Einlagen eine besondere Atmosphäre. Die Gestaltung der ersten EP basiert auf von Hand gezeichnete Schwarz-Weiß-Illustrationen, die eine Symbiose aus EP Titel „Black Eyes“ und Bandname zu gleichen Teilen ist und die tiefe Stimmung der Musik perfekt einfängt.
