Welcome to the photographic world of Mr Peluche! I am a micro-sculptor and miniat (o) urist, currently I am based in Berlin. Different languages and bloods run through the brain of this barmy European zirkuskid. I have been working as a street musician, and experienced living life as an “outsider” in the most accurate sense of the word, namely outside. Consequently I began working with 1:87 plastic scale figures about 1-2cm (0.4 – 0.8 inches) small, which I assemble, (re) paint and compose for the lens of my camera in order to re-animate them and their respective surroundings. My first photo-series “my summer of love – make love not war” received a great deal of attention and acclaim as well as warmhearted feedback on art- and design blogs around the globe which makes me feel honored. I really wish I could brighten up your day a bit with my current work, the world’s first calendar with “sexy flowers”.
