It didn’t happen all by itself. It took a lot of commitment, deliberation, learning, time and effort while introducing myself with a vast number of analog and digital cameras, as well as, getting acquainted with different kind of techniques and various ways of observing reality.
It all began during my highschool education. Exploring the world of photography isn’t easy at all, but when you are seventeen, everything is a game. Nowdays, at the age of 37, I’m still playing…
Why do I love photography? It’s difficult to put it into words, but I can tell you with clear certainty that I enjoy the process, I enjoy in every moment, I enjoy the energy, I enjoy working… With camera in my hands I absorb life and people around me – I am getting to know them and I communicate with them. That is pure passion!
Travelling is likewise my passion. For me, being in India, is a genuine testimony of mimicry in the form of human being as I look like an Indian. I don’t speak hindoo, but when I take photos of people in the street or in the train or in the temple I feel reciprocity, an untrammeled and true hearted communication.
