3D modeling

For someone who wants to get into 3D modeling and animation, which tool is better in the long run—one that’s completely free and community-driven, or the one that’s industry-standard but comes with a hefty subscription?

Ultimately, both tools are powerful, and your choice should align with your career aspirations and budget. Many professionals start with Blender and transition to Maya as needed. Check more information on this page gamepackstudio.com/maya-vs-blender-the-battle-of-3d-softwar…
I’ve seen people go both routes. Starting with a free tool like Blender is great to build skills without financial pressure, and if you later need to switch to something like Maya, the fundamentals carry over.
What really matters is how consistent you are with practicing, not which logo is on the splash screen.
Try not to think so much about „long run“. The big Ones (especially from Autodesk) are too slow to react to AI that will bring them down sooner or later. Classic 3D may find a corner place like Vinyl records do. This is for sure.
