Terms and conditions

The rules for using dasauge.

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This English translation is provided for information. The German version is authoritative.

These terms govern use of the dasauge websites operated by Das Auge Kreativnetzwerk UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Geusenstr. 9, 10317 Berlin, Germany (referred to below as “dasauge”). Provider details and further contact options are available in the imprint. Information about processing personal data is provided in the privacy policy.

1. Scope and formation of the agreement

These terms apply to accounts, Profiles, Portfolios, Job postings, Workspace listings, search alerts, and contact between members on all dasauge domains and language versions operated by us. The agreement for free membership is formed when registration is completed.

Specific service descriptions and terms shown when ordering a paid service supplement these terms and take precedence only for that service. The privacy policy independently governs processing of personal data.

Accounts and content from the previous dasauge site have been carried over to this service. Continued use of a carried-over account requires acceptance of these terms at first sign-in; until then, carried-over public content remains visible, and account deletion can be requested at any time. Carried-over Job postings run for 30 days from their original publication; older postings end with the transfer. Paid bookings still running keep their purchased runtime. Unchanged carried-over Profiles and Portfolios can be republished without another review.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Account holders must be at least 18 years old. Individuals, freelancers, companies, and organisations may register. An account for a company or organisation may be operated only by an authorised representative.

Account and contact information must be accurate, complete, and current. A non-misleading professional, studio, or stage name may be used for a public Profile. The confirmed email address must remain reachable so that dasauge can send contractual, security, and operational notices.

Credentials are personal and must not be shared. Until an explicit team feature is offered, a company account is operated by one authorised representative. Accounts may not be sold, rented, transferred without consent, or operated for an undisclosed third party. A change of representative or of the account's email address is made in account settings or through support.

Suspected compromise or loss of credentials must be reported to dasauge without delay. Users are responsible for conduct they culpably enabled, not automatically for every unauthorised use. dasauge may temporarily secure or suspend a compromised account and require suitable verification before restoration. Anyone who no longer has access to their account's email address may request account recovery. dasauge reviews the request personally, may require evidence, and declines it if entitlement is not sufficiently shown.

3. Role and services of dasauge

dasauge provides infrastructure for publication, presentation, search, alerts, and communication. In particular, dasauge is not an employer, recruiter, employment agency, broker, landlord, tenant, representative, or party to transactions initiated or concluded between members.

Users must independently verify identity, authority, qualifications, conditions, payments, locations, and suitability of an offer. Review, publication, or trusted status is not an endorsement, identity verification, credit check, or guarantee. dasauge does not promise a response, introduction, hire, rental, audience, transaction, or commercial outcome.

Suspected fraud should be reported before money, credentials, identity documents, or other sensitive information is sent.

dasauge may develop features and presentation further. Material reductions affecting an ongoing paid service are handled under its service description and mandatory law. Other material service changes will be announced with reasonable notice where practical.

4. Public content and licence

Published Profiles, Portfolios, postings, listings, and media are publicly visible on the internet. Search engines and other services may index, link to, cache, or preview them. Deletion from dasauge cannot recall independent copies or copies previously made lawfully by third parties.

The person submitting content retains ownership. They grant dasauge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, technically transform, review, and present the content to the extent required to operate dasauge pages, directories, feeds, search and social previews, and transactional messages. This includes technically required formats and non-substantive formatting or categorisation. It does not permit unrelated advertising without separate permission.

The submitting person warrants that they hold all copyright, trademark, image, personality, data-protection, and other rights and consents required for this use. The licence ends upon deletion, subject to reasonable technical caches, backups, legal retention, and copies already made lawfully.

5. Requirements for Profiles, Portfolios, and listings

Profiles, Portfolios, Job postings, and Workspace listings must be genuine, current, accurately described, correctly categorised, and submitted by someone with authority.

Job postings must comply in particular with employment and equal-treatment law. Employer, work, location, compensation, and other conditions must not be misrepresented. Anyone offering an office or workspace must have authority to do so and must accurately state its availability, location, price, and conditions.

Agencies and other authorised representatives may post Job postings on behalf of their clients if they are entitled to do so. The posting names the company stated in it as the employer; the agency is not shown in the posting. The posting account remains dasauge's contracting party and responsible for the posting, its information and payment. This does not count as operating the account for an undisclosed third party.

Prohibited uses include:

  • unlawful content or infringement of third-party rights;
  • false or misleading claims about identity, authorship, qualifications, location, offer, or category;
  • fraud, fake jobs, advance-fee schemes, pyramid schemes, phishing, or credential harvesting;
  • spam, irrelevant mass contact, duplicate listings, or listings created only to manipulate search engines;
  • malware, attacks, interference, abusive automation, artificial interaction, or unlawful extraction;
  • threats, harassment, hate, doxxing, unlawful discrimination, or unauthorised publication of personal or confidential data;
  • pornography, exploitative or non-consensual imagery, or sexual content involving minors.

Lawful artistic nudity is permitted. dasauge may exclude sensitive work from general previews or require labels once corresponding controls are offered.

6. Contact between members

Another member may be contacted only through an authenticated account with a confirmed email address and for a legitimate professional purpose related to the published Profile or Workspace listing. Advertising, unrelated or bulk recruiting, address harvesting, spam, fraud, and harassment are prohibited.

The sender's confirmed email address is disclosed to the recipient as the reply address. Recipients may disable contact for their Profile, block users, and report messages. A report may immediately restrict the sender from further contact pending review; this is a protective measure and not yet a finding that a violation occurred. Reported messages may be reviewed and retained as described in the privacy policy.

dasauge does not guarantee delivery or a response. Verify the other person before sending money, credentials, identity documents, or sensitive information.

7. Moderation, reports, and protective measures

New content and changes from accounts not yet treated as trusted are reviewed before publication. This covers Profiles, Portfolios, free Job postings and Workspace listings. An existing published version generally remains visible while changes are reviewed; you can hide that version. A submitted version cannot be edited or withdrawn until a decision is made. A request for changes allows correction and resubmission. After rejection, editing must first be expressly reopened.

Trusted accounts and purchased Premium and Design Job postings that meet the applicable payment conditions bypass routine pre-publication review. Other restrictions, the selected publication time and required information or media still apply. A purchase alone does not grant general account trust. Rule-based checks may flag suspected spam or fraud for human review; a flag alone does not automatically reject content. Estimated review times are not guaranteed deadlines. Decisions on versions submitted for review are communicated in the member area and by email. You may request another review through our contact options, quoting the decision reference.

Accounts not yet treated as trusted may have at most five submissions awaiting review at once. Submission rate limits apply to all accounts. dasauge grants trusted status at its own discretion, for example after several approved submissions or based on previous use; there is no entitlement to it. Trust status may be withdrawn without a separate email. Existing published content remains visible unless separately restricted; further submissions return to routine review.

dasauge may warn, hold, hide, restrict, suspend, or terminate content or accounts for violations of these terms, outstanding payment, account compromise, abuse, or legal requirements. The measure depends on the seriousness, urgency, and repetition of the matter.

dasauge may act immediately in cases of serious illegality, fraud, attacks, repeat violations, or comparable legal and security risks. Affected users generally receive reasons and may request review through the contact options. This does not apply where providing reasons or disclosure would be unlawful or would endanger security or an ongoing investigation.

Suspected infringements may be submitted through the reporting function for the affected content or to hallo@dasauge.de. Copyright reports may also identify content that is no longer visible by its URLs. Provide your contact details, the protected work, your authority to report, the exact affected URLs and the reasons for the alleged infringement, and confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We acknowledge receipt by email with a case reference. Receipt alone neither establishes an infringement nor restricts the content.

Following human review, we may restrict the affected file temporarily or on the basis of a reasoned decision, hear from the submitting person, and remove or restore it after review. Other content generally remains unaffected. When restricting a file, we preserve necessary evidence privately for handling the case and defending claims. Technical removal from our delivery paths and caches is then processed; independent copies already made cannot be recalled.

Additional information and objections may be sent by email or through our contact options with the case reference; no sign-in is required. We retain the correspondence and review the decision personally. Neither an objection nor dismissal of a report automatically restores a previously restricted file. Lifting an existing hold requires an express decision; other justified holds and publication requirements remain effective. Repeated confirmed breaches may lead to further account measures after review. Dismissed or overturned findings do not count as confirmed breaches. Mandatory rights under the Digital Services Act and the German Copyright Service Provider Act remain unaffected.

8. Paid services for businesses

Where dasauge offers paid publication packages, they are available only to traders acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, or profession. Consumers cannot order these services.

Before ordering, checkout states in particular the scope, price, VAT treatment, runtime, payment, review, publication start, cancellation, and refund terms. The payment methods and conditions offered during checkout apply to the booking. For prepayment, the booking is made available after confirmed receipt of payment. If your account has approved postpayment terms, the booking may be made available after invoicing and before payment; the payment period shown before ordering applies. An invoice alone does not confirm payment. Vouchers and individually agreed discounts, such as an agency commission, apply only as shown during checkout; they cannot be combined. There is no entitlement to a discount.

Making the booking available does not mean that the Job posting has been published. The purchased runtime begins when paid publication actually starts or an upgrade is activated. A later start is possible within the activation period shown; for current packages this is three months from the booking being made available. The selected publication date must fall within that period; required information and media, including the PDF for Design Job postings, must be ready in time. Other restrictions and publication requirements still apply. Hiding a posting does not pause an already-started runtime or restart it when shown again. There is no automatic renewal.

Before first publication, you may cancel in full through our contact options. We refund the full price paid without processing deductions; any outstanding invoice obligation is cancelled through the required credit note. Cancellation is not available in the member area. Already-published Job postings, including those later hidden or expired and upgrades of such postings, require separate review of any refund request.

If a purchased Job posting is finally rejected before its first publication, the full price paid is refunded. This also applies when the buyer caused a violation of these terms. There are no processing or review deductions and no compulsory conversion into account credit. Any outstanding invoice obligation is cancelled through the required credit note. dasauge handles the financial processing; issuing a credit note or initiating a refund does not mean that repayment has already reached you.

If an unused booking's activation period expires, we handle the case personally and arrange an agreed extension or a full refund or credit with you. The booking is not simply forfeited; bank repayment is not automatic. A temporary restriction, missing information or media, or a later publication date is not a final rejection. Other refund claims remain subject to separate review; mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. After first publication, hiding or deletion requested by the buyer, and removal caused by the buyer's culpable violation, do not create a refund entitlement. If dasauge is responsible for non-performance, for example an extended outage of the posting during the paid runtime, we extend the runtime accordingly by agreement or refund the price proportionately; mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. Availability, warranties, and liability

No uninterrupted availability is promised for free services. Paid services are governed by their service description and mandatory rights. dasauge does not warrant the accuracy, lawfulness, reachability, suitability, or outcome of user content, listings, or contacts.

dasauge has unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, an express guarantee, and mandatory statutory liability. For ordinary negligence, dasauge is liable only for breach of an essential contractual duty and only for damage that was foreseeable and typical for the agreement.

Users indemnify dasauge against third-party claims and reasonable defence costs to the extent caused by their culpable breach of these terms or third-party rights. dasauge will inform the affected user promptly and allow reasonable participation in the defence. This does not exclude dasauge's own responsibility or mandatory obligations.

10. Duration and termination

Free membership continues indefinitely. You may request deletion of your account at any time through account settings. dasauge may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate as provided in section 7 and may discontinue the complete free service with reasonable notice. Immediate action remains possible for the urgent grounds listed there.

Termination does not remove outstanding invoices, payment duties, accrued claims, or documents retained by law or for legal defence. Deletion and retention follow the privacy policy; paid packages are additionally governed by the terms accepted when ordering.

The service software, design, marks, and databases belong to dasauge or its licensors. Ordinary use, linking, and search-engine indexing are permitted. Systematic extraction, scraping, republication, interference, or automated access outside an expressly offered interface requires permission or a statutory right.

Links and embedded third-party services are not endorsements. Their respective operators are responsible for their content, availability, and terms.

12. Changes to these terms

Editorial clarifications that do not change rights or duties do not require renewed acceptance. Material changes will be announced by email and within the service before taking effect, with a summary and intended effective date. Urgent legal or security changes may take effect on shorter notice; dasauge will then provide prompt information.

Users must explicitly accept a changed version before publishing or editing content, contacting members, or ordering. Without acceptance, login, access to the terms, account settings, data export, and account deletion remain available. The version accepted when ordering generally continues to govern an existing paid service unless a change is legally required or benefits the buyer.

13. Final provisions

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protections of the country in which a consumer habitually resides remain unaffected. Berlin is a venue only for merchants, public-law entities, and other legally permitted cases, not generally for consumers.

The German version is authoritative; translations are provided for information. Membership and orders may not be assigned without dasauge's consent. dasauge may transfer the agreement as part of a business succession after prior notice, provided that user rights are not reduced.

Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. If a provision is invalid, statutory law applies in its place; the remaining provisions remain effective.

dasauge is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer conciliation body. Statutory access to certified out-of-court dispute settlement for moderation decisions under the Digital Services Act remains unaffected.
